I've been struggling with fear and anxiety for over 20 years. There were some weeks, I really struggled in this context my daily routines. I also have some pet as an animal lover, and I've always worried about what would happen with my pets, as my mental health got the best of me.

Here are some ways to take care of your pet when you're having trouble getting through the week because of your fear, anxiety, depression and other mental problems.

During my fear time I realized that I was going to focus on doing only the most important things to take care of my pets. I made sure that I will be able to feed my pets, give them plenty of water, and a safe and secure environment. If I could do it, so my pet would be ok. When I got back on my feet, I would return to my normal routine.

Sometimes, I ask my relatives or friends for the help to take care of my pets. They knew I was struggling with my anxiety and they were more than willing to help me for a few days until I came back on my feet.

I could not bother my friends and family members on a regular basis, so I made some preparations for hiring a pet sitter if my fear get the best of me. I did some research and got a list of people I could call. When my fear would interfere with my life, I always had a list of pet sitters who I could call when I really needed them.

I also spoke with the vet about other ways to take care of my pets, while I struggled with my fears. My vet provided me with other useful suggestions in case I had problems with.

I also came up with an important fact about my pets and mental health. If you know you are struggling with some psychological problems, not wait until the last minute to figure out how to take care of your pets.

I realized that it is now time to plan for my pet in the case of my mental problems should got the best of me.

Many people who struggle with their mental health sometimes forgotten or do not know what to do in taking care of their pets when they are due to fear, anxiety and depression become incapacitated. Don't wait until it's too late to make sure that your pets are taken care of when it comes to treating your mental health.
